1) A big beautiful hawk was killed on North Sheridan Way Service Road last night. How can anybody kill a beautiful bird like that?

Don Cherry of Coach's Corner expressing absolute dismay that a hawk was killed - evidently he found the remains of a hawk hit by a car on the way home - probably hit by a car as it was trying to fly across the road. I think that most non-birders are fascinated by raptors and as a photographer/birder, I enjoy them as I always have; by pulling out the camera and photographing them in their natural habitat.
